A large, 4-year, public university. This coed college is located in a small city in an urban setting and is primarily a residential campus. It offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.

Berkeley is one of the country's most recognized public schools. It is a place of great activism and knowledge. The sports scene is fun and competitive. It is close to San Francisco and the ocean so there's lots of fun!, when it comes to the entire educational spectrum, it's home to one of the most vibrant communities in America and is an excellent place to get one's PhD from thanks to the very experienced faculty. If you can find a professor who will properly fund you, UC Berkeley can be a great place to go!

Class sizes are decent and the instructors/assistants are always available after class. The campus felt safe and was nice.
